She is survived by: her husband Russell Burkey; her daughters, Carolyn Landrum (Tom), Dawn Michelle Rowland and Renee Davis (Samuel); and her sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Margie Cliett of Gibson, Georgia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
