He is survived by: his children, Bryant M. Ivey of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Rachel Ivey Mitts (Alton) of Gibson, Itina Ivey McCuller of Decatur and Kimberly Ivey Mathis (Benny) of Thomson; his sisters, Betty Davis (Beauford) of Atlanta, Barbara Ivey White (John) of Ovieda and Naomi Ivery of Thomson, Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Bessie (Willie), Blue of Cincinnati, Mamie Lowe (Johhny) of Sharon, Jimmy Johnson (Mary) and Willie C. Harris; and his significant other Geraldine Hester of Thomson. He is also survived by Daughter reared as his own Alfreda Hester of Warner Robins Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
