She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Emory Chalker of Glascock County; her parents, Thomas "Tom" McCorkle and Fannie Lou Young McCorkle; and her son-in-law Dwight Neal. She is survived by: her children, Janie Chalker Neal of Athens, Kaye Chalker Bazal (Donald) of Villa Rica, Cindy Chalker Goldman (Bobby) of Thomson and Janet Chalker Deas (Michael) of Norwood, Georgia; and her friends, Cindy and Bobby Goldman. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great great grandsons.
