She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Amerson; her parents, George Filby and Geraldine Soles Filby; and her sons, William Hope and Andrew Hope.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Hope, Jr. of Flint, Michigan, Tammie Morgan (Jack) of Warrenton, Georgia, Gehlert Hope of Thomson, Georgia, Timothy Hope of Warrenton, Georgia, Anthony Hope of Warrenton, Georgia, Tina Hope (Pierce Newsome) of Warrenton, Georgia and Tonia Hendrickson (Mike) of Gains, Michigan; and her sister Barbara Oshaughnessy (Lester). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
