He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith Adkins; his daughters, Joan Wood (John), Robin Wiggins (David) and Diane Adkins; his grandchildren, Megan Pileggi (Christopher), Adam Wiggins (Charlotte), Ashley Hoague (Travis), Lacy Moncus (Brian) and Logan Wood; his great grandchildren, Daniel Hoague, Emily Hoague, Kyler Moncus, Carver Moncus and Maverick Pileggi; and his sister Varnelle Marsh.
Per CDC requirements the family will be observing social distancing.
