He is survived by: his children, Lillie Freeman (Al), Leroy Dawson of Atlanta, Eddie Dawson (Barbara) of Warrenton, Mae Lizzie Kemp (Ronnie) of Warrenton, Dorothy Mae Kendricks of Warrenton, Beatrice Kemp of Warrenton, Velma Dawson of Warrenton, Gladys Britt (Durrane) of Warrenton, Lorenzo Dawson (Debbie) of Hinesville and Mary Gant (Kent) of Dearing, Georgia. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many loving friends.
