He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cason and Helen Cason. He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Swain (Ryan), Chris Cason (Lynn) and Charles Cason (Wendy); his sister Cindy Cason; and his grandchildren, Savannah Donegan, Georgia Gooding, Ryan "Scooter" Gooding, Robert Cason, Emma Akers, Jacob Irby (Casey), Gracie Hadden (Will), Cason Swain and Jackson Swain. He is also survived by his 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
