It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Grier (Warrenton, Georgia), born in Sharon, Georgia, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Binns and Bell Binns; her siblings, Mattie Bell, Robert Jr., John, Annie Lee, Will, Edgar, Roberta, Jessie Mae and James; and her husband Solomon Grier.
She is survived by: her children, Agnes Berry of Decatur, GA, Ella Franklin of Decatur, GA, Lavania Franklin of Norwood, GA, Mary Jones of Warrenton, GA, James Grier (Mary) of Warrenton, GA and Winston Grier (Betty Sue) of Thomson, GA. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, God children, neighbors, and friends.
