He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Dawson; his sons, Carlus Kemp IV (Rokeisha Kemp) of Thomson and Khaalis Flournoy of Dallas, Georgia.; and his siblings, Shirley Thomas (Pete) of Mayfield, Ronnie Kemp (Mae Lizzy) of Warrenton, Donna Kemp (Bernard) of Mayfield and Patricia Ivey of Camak, Georgia. He is also survived by five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
