He is survived by: his wife Brenda Phillips Murphy; his son Christopher Steven Murphy (Dana); his son-in-law Kenneth Ellison; his granddaughter Amanda Ellison; his brother Allen Murphy (Deborah); and his nieces and nephews, Travis Murphy (Wendy), Todd Murphy (Katie), Ryan Phillips Brandi (Mandi), Micky Childs (Kenny), Gracie Phillips, Matthew Nasworthy, Lillian Nasworthy, Finn Childs, Thad, Boogie, Aiden and Everett.
