He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Jennings Morgan and Viola Morgan; his daughter Kathy M. Brown; and his siblings, Nancy Morgan, Belle Hodges, Leta Judy and Zack Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda McElwain of Renick, WV; his children, Steve, Stephen Jr. (Katherine) and Kristy M. Tarr (Chuck); his grandsons, Stephen Lee Morgan, Clarence Eldridge Ill (Tripp), Justin Morgan and Kristopher Tarr; and his brother Isaac Morgan.
