She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Rowan Sr. and Cheryl Butts; her husband Robert Sanders; her siblings-in-law, Justin Sanders and Jennifer Sanders; and her brother Roy "Buck" Rowan (Denise) of Tampa. She was also cherished by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
