She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ferguson and Marion Ferguson (LaRue); her husband Fred Andrew Mercer, Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Ferguson, Charles Ferguson, Harold Gardner, Lloyd Bresee, Pauline Ferguson Vigue and Frances Ferguson Hazen.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mercer (Amanda) and Marilea Butler; and her sisters, Dorothy LaBarge and Deanna McGinnis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
