He was predeceased by: his parents, James Selby and Jessie Frye; his brother Charles Fowler (Carolyn); and his granddaughter Sarah Rae. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ginger) Fowler (Mallard); his children, Betty Purdes (Robin), Christine Fowler, Lori Short (Danny Evans) and Troy Short; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Randy Jr., Tori and Jersie; his great grandchildren, Drew, Jasper, Paislee, Madison and Ember; and his sister-in-law Sharon Stevens.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
