She was predeceased by: her parents, Alec Glidewell and Eva Glidewell; her former husband Henry Deloach; her husband Lieutenant Colonel Carvel Mahaffey, Jr.; and her siblings, Elinor Pence, Hope Glidewell, Henrietta McIntyre, John Glidewell, Lemuel Glidewell and Eileen Kelley.

She is survived by: her brother Joseph Glidewell.
