She was predeceased by: her husband Bishop Joseph M. Howell; her daughter Teresa Diane Caven of Warner Robins; her parents, Ernest Barker and Gladys Barker; her siblings, Ronald Barker, Daniel Barker and Brenda Fox; and her great grandchild Dixie Tatum Ward.
She is survived by: her daughters, G. Renee'Ellis (Donald) and Josephine "Josie" Smith (Mark) of Warner Robins, Georgia; and her sister Eunice Samantha Gilmore of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
