She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hightower Sr. and Pauline Jones Hightower; and her siblings, Leola Hightower Myres, Anna Bell Price, Mamie Gilbert, Willie Gene Hightower, Richard Hightower, Willie Bob Hightower and Willie Albert Hightower.
She is survived by: her significant other Tommie Lee Young; her children, Bobbie Battise (Nathaniel) and Johnny Young (Emma); and her brother Claude Hightower Jr. of Shellman, GA.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
