She is survived by: her sons, Jeffery Crook (Andrea) and Robert Crook (Erika); her grandchildren, Martin Crook, Michael Crook, Abbie Crook and Ayla Crook; and her brother Curtis Cook, Jr..

Often a helper, Myrtis could be found offering a helping hand whenever she was able, looking out for those she loved or volunteering to do charity work wherever she saw the need.
