With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtice Laverne Thompson Bowden (Warner Robins, Georgia), who passed away on August 20, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Thompson and Lucille Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Harris Bowden, Sr.; her pet Laverne; her children, Eugene Bowden (Emily), Gregory Bowden (Kimberly) and Ginger Jackson; and her grandchildren, Casey Ogle, William Bowden, Stacy O-Rear, Jennifer Dykes, Ryan Bowden, Matthew Jackson, Melissa Bagley, Meghan Jackson and Madison Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that donations be made to the Humane Society of Houston County; 810 Carl Vinson Pkwy, Centerville, GA 31028.
