He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Erick and Mildred Forsyth Smith; his wife Deborah "Debbie" Moore Erick; his children, Donna Jean Erick of Wrightsville, Chris Watkins (Mindy) of Flowery Branch and Stephen Watkins (Gayle) of Smith Station, AL; his adoptive children, Agnes, Phillip and Tammy; his grandchildren, Leslie, Eric Bonner, Abby Watkins, Cohen Watkins, Trey Purvis, Jada Watkins and Andrew Watkins; his great grandchild Haisley Watkins; his half-siblings, Buster Smith, Pete Smith, Ray Smith, Luella Smith Harbuck and Mary Smith Easterling; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Moore.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Christian Hope Congregational Holiness Church (1600 Elberta Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31093).
