She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Curtis Crumley and Elizabeth Hansen Crumley; her husband James Harold Shields; her siblings, David Crumley, Dickie Crumley (LaDonna) and Roberta Carruth (Fred); and her grandson James Robert "Bobby" Shields.
She is survived by: her sons, James Keith Shields (Sandi Lollis) of Byron and Kenneth Wade Shields (Hope Hahn) of Juliette; her grandchildren, Erika Shields of Atlanta, Ella Wade Shields of Juliette, Julian Ellis (Laura) of Elbert, CO, Bryan Ellis (Janie) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Chase Ellis of Centennial, CO; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Cade, Jackson and Charlie; and her sisters-in-law, Rachel Reed Crumley of Bonaire and Eloise Archer of Athens.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Shirley Hills Baptist Church (615 Corder Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
