With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Joarlyn Knowles (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown and Eunice Brown; her husband John Wesley Knowles, Sr.; and her brother Dr. Luther Edward "L. E." Brown. She is survived by: her family Jo; her sons, John Wesley Knowles, Jr. (Suzie) of Byron, Georgia and Kenneth Erwin Knowles of Byron, Georgia; her stepgrandsons, Brad Harvey (Meghann) and Tyler Harvey (Rachel); her sisters, Charlene Brown Cotton (Jim), Ruth Stevenson (Robin) and Frances Martin (Mike); and her sister-in-law Nancy Cornett (Don).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCullough Funeral Home (417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar McCullough Funeral Home (417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jo Knowles to The Alzheimer's Association at 3040 Riverside drive, Macon, GA 31210.
