It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm Hartwell Derrick Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Quattlebaum Derrick and Malcolm H. Derrick Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rena Batchelor Derrick; his daughter Dana Nicole Derrick Deloach (Jason); his stepdaughter Gina Rainey (Mitchel); his grandsons, Dustin and Austin Tidwell; and his stepgrandchildren, Kevin Rainey, Lauren Rainey, Steven Rainey, Lindsey Rigby and Dillon Rigby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
