With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Majel Marie Hammond (Warner Robins, Georgia), who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Atkins and Bertha Atkins; and her siblings, Viva Goode, Judy Murray and Kenneth Atkins.
She is survived by: her husband Carl W. Hammond; her sons, Kenneth Hammond of Warner Robins and Carl Warren Hammond (Patricia) of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Jason Hammond (Nichole), Mallory Tucker (Jared), Warren Shafor (Nichole), Paul Hammond (Jenna) and Adam Deich; her brother Ray Atkins (Charlene); and her close friends, Ruth Griffin, Maritza Elmore and Harold Soto.
The family will accept flowers, but those who wish may make donations in Marie's honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
