She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Clements Murphy and Bobby Couey; and her sister Shelia D. Broom. She is survived by: her fiancé Miles Murray; her children, Branden Murray, Kiley Murray and Malorey Murray; her stepfather James Kay Murphy; and her nieces and nephews, Robby Britt (Kimberly), Shelley Tatum (Roderick) and Crissy Collins (Zachary). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of LeWanna Patterson to Milstead Baptist Church at 1613 Main Street NE, Conyers, GA 30012.
