He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ness and Ann Ness; and his brother Edward "Buddy" Ness. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Ness; his children, Kevin Ness and Lauren Ness; his grandchildren, Emerson, Luke and Grant Ness; and his siblings, Robert Ness, Mary Ann Brooks and Meg Shelton.
