She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonas Franklin Deems and Eva Stinger; and her husband Jim Chiarello. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Scott (Gretta) and Dale Benson (Lisa); her brother Tommy Deems (Lilla); her grandchildren, Dakota Benson, Stormie Suddeth (Luke), Shelby Heath (Dylan), Saylor Benson and Ciarra Payne (Ian); and her great grandchildren, Hux, Sage, Stetson, Hollis and Emory Cate.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you graciously make donations if you feel led, in Joyce's honor to one of the following; St. Jude's Research Hospital, Macon Animal Shelter, or any Law Enforcement Support Center.
