He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Hurst and Latrelle Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hurst of Warner Robins; his children, Joey NeSmith of Valdosta, Heather Hurst of Warner Robins and Melinda Hurst of Fort Valley; his stepfather Billy Pace of Hahira; and his sister Janice Clanton of Cecil. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
