It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edwin Phillips (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank David and Sarah Herring Phillips; and his sister Linda Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Rhea Houck Phillips; his daughters, Jackie Thames (Kasey) and Cindy Davis; his grandchildren, David, Betsy, Bobby, Josh, Carter and Sarah; and his siblings, David Phillips, Mary Wergin and Martha Adams. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of John to your favorite charity.
