With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Talmadge West (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ponis "Pony" T. West and Clara Mae West (Kornegia); and his sister Joyce W. Welch. He is survived by: his wife Joyce P. West; his children, Kristin Hovey (Jim Brown) of Mooresville, NC, Kimberly Richardson (Steven) of Perry, GA and James Kelly (Chuck Foster) of Americus, GA.; his grandchildren, Ashley Rouse (Michelle), Alexandra Reynolds (Adam), Ric Richardson (Kim Burgess), Kinley Hovey, Stratton Kelly (Haleigh Wynn) and Kenna Hovey (Gabriel Gray); his great grandchildren, Bentley, Ryker, Phoenix and Caden; and his sisters, Pat Harvey (Calvin) and Joann West. He is also survived by extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
