He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Thelma Gladys Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Stephens of Warner Robins; his children, James B. Stephens (Eva) of North Augusta and Cheryl S. Jones (Chandler) of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Paul B. Elliott, Brittany A. Mosley, Andrew B. Kota, John-Wesley Kennedy, Devin E. Kota and Seth Z. Clark; and his siblings, Martha Kate Emerson of Alabama and John L. Stephens of Texas. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
