It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Edward Smith (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Mary Virginia Herndon Smith; and his sister Frieda Hiers. He is survived by: his wife Carla McLean Smith of Byron; his children, Scott Smith of Hendersonville and Stacy Smith Phillips of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Tanner Phillips (Carson) of Warner Robins, Hunter Phillips of Warner Robins, Shelby Kate Phillips Lucas (Hollis) of Madison, Hannah Reese Smith of Hendersonville and Lily Grace Smith of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Jack Henry Phillips, Margo James Phillips and McLean Cooper Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other dear family members and friends.
