He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Childress and Cassie Childress; his wife Beulah Pearl Childress; his son Frank Childress, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Karen Childress; his grandson Christopher Head; and his siblings, Alice Childress, George Childress and Don Childress.
He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Red (Warren); his grandchildren, Hunter Red, Chancy Childress, Frank Childress, III (Haley) and Kathleen Buzzell; and his brothers, Doug Childress (Gail) and Richard Childress.
