He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Shell, Kelly J. Evans (Kelly A.) and Tim Griggs; his grandchildren, Stefanie Rushing (Matt), Heather Ray (Zack), Ashley Ake, Andrew Evans (Mandy) and Melissa Griggs; his great grandchildren, Jayden Ake, Holden Rushing and Angel Sweeney; and his siblings, Joyce Greer of Phenix City, Alabama., Paula Edwards of Phenix City, Alabama., Ray Griggs of Phenix City, Alabama. and Evangeline Thornton of Phenix City, Alabama..
