He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrel E. Smith and Mary A. Carroll. He is survived by: his siblings, Chuck Smith of Warner Robins, Georgia, Lynn Alderson (Ed) of Columbus and Kim Smith (Ricky) of Warner Robins, Georgia; and his nephews, John Burks (Olga) of Seattle and Curtis Alderson (Bre) of Atlanta, Georgia.
