He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford and Juanita Statham McGlamry; his son Steffan McGlamry; and his grandson Wesley Lucas. He is survived by: the mother of his children Darlene McGlamry; his daughters, Gina Lucas (Harry) and Lisa Newton (Keith); his grandchildren, Christie McGlamry Durham (Brad), Chance Newton, Saybra McGlamry, Steffan McGlamry Jr., Courtney Newton, Trey McGlamry and John Lucas; his great grandchildren, Anslie Durham and Tyler Durham; his caregivers, Jeanna, Michael Coulter and Jeannie Deal; and his fathers-in-law, Boss Man, Stormin Norman, Friend and Silver Fox.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Celebrate Recovery at Southside Baptist Church located at l 040 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

“It has deeply saddened me to learn of Charlie's death. He was one dear person to me. He was extremely good to me as one of three bosses I had at AAA Asphalt Products. His family will certainly have a treasure of memories of him with all his accomplishments and the traveling he did looking at new construction and what he would see and come back wanting to see what he could do with what he saw and learned.”
