He is survived by: his wife June Cooper Stevens; his children, Sallyann Stevens Clements (Glen) of Macon and Sandra Peck of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Sarah Reinhardt, Kaylie Brown (Taylor) and Dana Chavez (Christopher); his great grandchild Nora Chavez; and his caregiver Munilla Steele.
