He is survived by: his sister Jean Jackson; his children, Charles Rachel, Jr., LtCol Keith Rachel and Maurice Rachel; his grandchildren, Alexis Brinson, Charlton Rachel (Mechela) and Carl Hill; and his great grandchild Skyler Brinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
