It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ackerman Brown of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ackerman and Louise Ackerman; and her siblings, Tom Ackerman and Barbara Ackerman. She is survived by: her husband Barry Lee Brown; her sons, Barry Lee Brown, Jr. (Anastasia) and David Thomas Brown (Mary); her grandchildren, Madeline Brown, Mason Brown, Myles Brown, Makayla Brown, Makenna Brown, Hazel Brown and Mercer Brown; her sister Mary Penn; her niece Tricia Wakeford; her nephew Brett Gahagen; her great-nieces, Cassidy Gahagen and Serena Wakeford; and her great-nephew Cooper Gahagen.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Carol A. Brown to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund.
