She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Stapleton and Lillie McLeod Stapleton; her daughter Melissa Mauldin Williams; her brothers, Billy Stapleton and James Stapleton; and her in-laws, Oscar Mauldin, Mary Mauldin, Kenneth Woodruff, Jaquelinn McKenney, Albert Mauldin and Wayne Poetter.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph L. Mauldin of Warner Robins; her grandson Dr. Nathaniel Williams of Lilburn; and her sister Judy Cooper of Leslie.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Andersonville National Cemetery.
