She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Jethro Purvis and Lela Jane Lee Purvis; and her brother Welton Purvis. She is survived by: her husband Robert Garrett Meeks; her children, Debra Gail Meeks Toliver (Kevin) and David Meeks (Ruth); her grandchildren, Heather Hilderbrand (Ben), Emily Toliver, Kelly Sellers (Graham) and Katie Morris (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Gavin Hilderbrand, Olivia Sellers, Morgan Sellers, James Morris, Virginia Morris and Charles Morris.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar McCullough Funeral Home (417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Jean Meeks to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
