Barbara J. Woodward Obituary

Mrs. Barbara Jane Woodward, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 16, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Monday, January 22, 2024 at 6:30 PM. Daniel Stearsman will be officiating. A visitation will take place two hours prior to the funeral service, between the hours of 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

Barbara was born on July 25, 1946 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Warren Jones and Charlene Barton Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kenny Jones and first husband of 44 years, John Newby. Barbara dedicated her life to serving and caring for her family. She enjoyed shopping and watching TV. During the daytime hours she could be found watching The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and The Beautiful. She cherished the time spent with her family and she will deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Norman Woodward; daughter, Sheila (Michael) Pachulski; sister, Mary (Rick) Crawford; and a host of extended friends and family.
