She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Zimmerman and Coy Zimmerman; her former husband Donald Purvis; and her husband James Clance. She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Pinto (Gerard) of Jacksonville, Donna Ivey (Tommy) of Gray and Georgia; her grandchildren, Emily, Philip, Lily Pinto and Ben Ivey; and her sisters, Gayle Payne (Fred) and Joan McAbee (Donald). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
