He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Jackson and Annie Sue Jackson; his wife Sandra Jackson; his daughter Mary Ann Jackson; and his siblings, Neal Jackson, Pete Jackson and Geneva Cannon Hardy.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hicks (Scott) of Warner Robins, Amory Jackson, Jr. (Lynn) of Warner Robins, Darrell Jackson of Kathleen and Carey Jackson (April) of Unadilla; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Kaitie, Courtney, Morgan, Caleb, Kyle, Trystan, Cassandra, A. J., Leah, Nicole and Jason. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
