He was predeceased by: his parents, Casiano Dy and Melina Dy (Curilan). He is survived by: his wife Eleonor "Nora" Dy (Laserna) of Warner Robins, GA; his sons, David Alexander Dy (Erin) of Japan and Derrick Anthony Dy of Sandy Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Elena Alexandra Dy and Sebastian Xavier Dy; and his siblings, Alan Dy, Alfred Dy, Emma Wiswell, Jane Castaneda (Rolly), Annie Dy, Melba Ng (Alfred), Jocelyn Medina (Cesar) and Sandra Dy-Miguel (Benny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
