It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Holmes of Warm Springs, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rushie Worthy Holmes and Thomas Franklin Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Bettie L. Holmes; and his sons, James Robert "Bob" Holmes (Joyce) and Cregg Holmes (Deborah "Debbie"). He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
