We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2022 we had to say goodbye to James Hixson of Warm Springs, Georgia, born in Hamilton, Georgia. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. J. C. Hixson and Rosia M. Hixson; his son Leroy Hixson; and his brother Joseph Cecil Hixson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hixson; his children, Judith Hixson, Lynne Patterson, Jean Hixson and Kenneth Hixson; his grandchildren, Preston Capers, James Capers, Dion Capers, Ariel Patterson and Anfernee Patterson; his siblings, Robert Hixson and Annie C. Green (Henry); and his sisters-in-law, Vera Bridges, Grace McAfee and Josephine Walton (Curtis). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
