He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Annette Thomas; and his parents, Willie Thomas and Mamie Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Rita Thomas, Leta LaBounty, Rusty Thomas, Doug Thomas, Ray Thomas, Kimberly Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Virgle Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Amanda Welchel and Rossie Thomas; his siblings, Clara Mae Townsend, Mary Fran Westmoreland, Benny Thomas and Angel Majors; and his stepfather Buck Bennett. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
