He was predeceased by: his son Nicholas Marc Giardina; his parents, Sam Giardina and Marie Giardina; and his brother Pete Giardina. He is survived by: his wife Gail Giardina; his son Derrick Giardina (Emily); and his granddaughters, Sylvia Giardina and Josie Giardina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
