He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Roper and Flossie Roper; and his wife Cheryl Faye Roper. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Tammy Roper), Chris (Linda Roper) and Lisa; his son-in-law Lee Stewart of Armuchee; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan Brooks of Jasper, Breana Brooks of Jasper, Emily Roper of Waleska, Matthew Roper of Waleska and Olivia Stewart of Armuchee; his sisters, Nettie Ruth Gravitt of Waleska and Burlen; and his brother-in-law Vernon Chaffin of Cumming. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
